MINSK, 12 August (BelTA) – Belarus and Kazakhstan have signed an agreement on the coordination of satellite networks, the press service of the Belarusian Communications and Informatization Ministry told BelTA.
A Belarusian delegation led by Aleksei Ivashkin, director of the telecommunication industry oversight enterprise BelGIE, met with Rizat Nurshabekov, director of the state enterprise State Radiofrequency Service of the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry of Kazakhstan. As a result of the meeting an agreement was signed on coordinating the satellite networks of the two countries and an agreement on cooperation between government agencies of Belarus and Kazakhstan.
The sides shared experience concerning the use of the radio frequency spectrum, including the introduction of fifth-generation mobile communication networks.
