MINSK, 10 September (BelTA) - Belarus has received an invitation to take part in the observation of the elections in the USA, Moldova and the parliamentary elections in Georgia, Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus Igor Sergeyenko said in an interview to Belarus 1 TV channel, BelTA has learned.
According to the speaker, Belarusian MPs take part in election observation. The MPs of the House of Representatives observed the parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan in early September.
“First of all, MPs gain invaluable experience taking part in such events. This means the establishment of partnership, trusting relations, support of the country. We also took part in observing elections in Venezuela and Uzbekistan,” Igor Sergeyenko said. “Just recently we have received an invitation to observe the elections in the United States of America, Moldova, parliamentary elections in Georgia.”
