MINSK, 16 June (BelTA) - Over the past four years, Belarus has implemented 116 large-scale projects to build tourism infrastructure, Deputy Director of the Tourism Department of the Belarusian Sports and Tourism Ministry Yekaterina Goncharenok said in a new episode of BelTA’s Nation Speaks project.
"In the past four years (2021-2024), 116 major infrastructure projects have been completed across Belarus. The number of available accommodations has increased by over 1,000 additional places nationwide," Yekaterina Goncharenok noted.

New facilities are regularly presented at the international tourism exhibition Otdykh [Leisure], which is held in Belarus in March. "This year, the Neman Hotel is opening in Grodno. Another new facility in Pinsk began operations in 2024," she added.
