MINSK, 8 January (BelTA) - Since 1 January 2025, Belarus has hosted 2,459 European visitors as part of the visa-waiver program, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee.
A total of 1,034,194 European residents have visited Belarus since 15 April 2022. They included 325,855 people from Latvia, 588,131 people from Lithuania, 104,210 people from Poland and 15,998 citizens from the 35 countries which were added to the visa waiver program on 19 July 2024.
The border committee also recalled that the head of state extended the visa-waiver program for citizens of 38 European countries. Foreigners will be able to come to Belarus without a visa until 31 December 2025.
