Belarus’ Hi-Tech Park registers over 40 new residents

MINSK, 31 January (BelTA) - The Supervisory Board of the Hi-Tech Park of Belarus has taken a decision on the registration of 44 companies as residents, BelTA learned from the Hi-Tech Park press service.

The park has welcomed companies with competencies in industry, medicine, financial technologies, gaming industry, mining, and tourism. Six companies with foreign capital, established by representatives of China and Russia, joined the Hi-Tech Park.

One of the new residents plans to produce sensors, telemetric measuring systems, measuring amplifiers for strain gauging, application software for visualization used in mechanical engineering and electrical industry.

The residents plan to develop an information system to facilitate biopsies for patients, as well as applications for people with hearing problems and for monitoring heart rate using the phone's flash and camera.

Today, the Hi-Tech Park unites more than 1,000 companies.
