MINSK, 16 August (BelTA) – The units of Belarus’ anti-aircraft missile forces have armed the S-300 launchers with missiles before the upcoming live firing exercise at the Ashuluk training ground in Russia, BelTA learned from the Defense Ministry of Belarus.
"The S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems are ready for launches," the Defense Ministry noted.
A joint tactical exercise of the Air Force and Air Defense of Belarus and the Russian Aerospace Forces is running at the Ashuluk training ground. During the drills, military personnel will increase the unit cohesion and practice new tactical techniques and anti-air and air combat methods.
