Belarus' Day of People's Unity celebrated in Tallinn

MINSK, 19 September (BelTA) - On 18 September, the Belarusian society Lyos hosted a literary soiree and musical concert by the Lyanok company to mark the Day of People's Unity at the center of the international union of cultural communities Lira in Tallinn, BelTA learned from the Belarusian diplomatic mission in Estonia.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Estonia Vyacheslav Kachanov attended the event and warmly congratulated all those present. The diplomat spoke about the history of the holiday and the traditions of celebrating it in the Republic of Belarus. Numerous guests of the evening, representing various national societies of Estonia joined the congratulations on the Belarusian holiday.

Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Estonia were established on 6 April 1992.
