MINSK, 4 July (BelTA) – Belarusian Defense Minister Viktor Khrenin met with Minister of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Cuba Alvaro Lopez Miera in Minsk, the Belarusian Defense Ministry told BelTA.
In his welcome address the head of the Cuban military delegation congratulated his Belarusian counterpart on the holidays Belarus is celebrating these days. Alvaro Lopez Miera thanked the Belarusian side for the opportunity to visit the WW2 memorial complex Brest Hero Fortress.
The parties summed up intermediate results of the joint work of the two defense ministries in H1 2024. The importance of continuing practical interaction with a view to bolstering cooperation in military affairs was noted.
