MINSK, 23 August (BelTA) – The commission in charge of considering petitions of Belarusian citizens, who stay abroad and need to know whether they face charges in Belarus has held a regular session, BelTA learned from the Commission's Secretariat.
The meeting was chaired by Prosecutor General Andrei Shved. The commission considered a number of petitions.
After reviewing the petitions, the commission decided to inform the citizens about the absence of administrative proceedings, about outstanding warrants for administrative arrest, about criminal proceedings, rulings that recognize them as suspects or guilty persons as of the date the relevant petitions were submitted.
