Belarus' Brest Oblast to participate in Adventur 2020 in Lithuania

BREST, 23 January (BelTA) – Brest Oblast will bring a collective exposition to the Adventur 2020, the largest tourism exhibition in the Baltic states, due in Vilnius on 24-26 January, BelTA has learned from Elena Pivnik, the deputy director for foreign economic cooperation of the Brest Office of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI).

The BelCCI regional branch teamed up with the sport and tourism department of the Brest Oblast Executive Committee to organize a business trip to the capital of Lithuania. The delegation is comprised of eleven representatives of the region's tourism industry. They represent the Berestye, Ruzhanski, Nadzeya and Chabarok health resorts, the Belovezhskaya Pushcha National Park, the Hermitage hotel, travel agencies from Brest and Pinsk and the Muchowiec Kumora rural tourism cluster which brings together a number of estates in Kobrin District and Zhabinka District. They will go to Vilnius to promote their travel services and establish contacts with Lithuanian and other foreign travel companies.

Some members of the delegation will participate in the event organized by the Belarusian Embassy in Lithuania on 23 January. The collective stand of Brest Oblast will be presented as part of the Belarus showcase under the aegis of Belarus National Tourism Agency on 24 January.

“We hope that the recreation and health-improvement services offered by the tourism industry of Brest Oblast combined with visa-free travel opportunities will attract the interest of potential customers. Brest Oblast is traditionally focused on cooperation with Poland, but I believe that we have good enough travel services to win over customers from the Baltic countries. We will also invite our foreign partners to attend in the tourism forum which will be held on the sidelines of the 5th International B2B Contact Fair Brest 2020 in April,” noted Elena Pivnik.

From 30 January to 2 February Belarusian regional health resorts and recreation services will be showcased at the major international travel trade fair Balttour 2020 in Riga, Latvia.
