MINSK, 28 January (BelTA) - Ukrainian UAVs violated the border of Belarus nearly 20 times in 2024, official representative of Belarus’ State Border Committee Anton Bychkovsky told the media, BelTA learned.
Representatives of foreign mass media from nine countries are visiting a section of Belarus' state border with Ukraine in Gomel District.
"Over the past year, we recorded about 350 flights of unmanned aerial vehicles on the border with Ukraine. We recorded about 20 cases of infringements of Belarusian airspace. These drones violated the border," Anton Bychkovsky said.

He pointed out that the State Border Committee and border guards of Belarus are taking appropriate measures. "Border guards are armed with radio electronic rifles, pump action weapons to prevent the violation of the state border by drones," Anton Bychkovsky stated.
