Belarus' border service responds to Poland's notification to close freight traffic at Kuznica

MINSK, 19 November (BelTA) - The Belarusian State Border Committee has received an official letter from Poland regarding its intention to suspend freight traffic at the Kuznica railway crossing point from 21 November, BelTA has learned.

“The State Border Committee sent a response letter explaining the current situation near the Bruzgi road crossing point (Kuznica Bialostocka on the Polish side) and also informed the Polish side of the measures taken to resolve the situation, and the absence of any threats to employees of the Polish services," the State Border Committee said.

Also, the Belarusian side announced its readiness to resume the operation of the Bruzgi road crossing point.
