MINSK, 8 April (BelTA) - The Polish authorities are producing no response to the illegal blocking of trucks in front of the Kukuryki border crossing, the State Border Committee of Belarus told BelTA.
According to the Association of International Road Carriers BAMAP, a group of protesters blocked the road for trucks on the Polish side on 7 April.
Long-haul trucks on their way to leave Poland for Belarus have remained blocked for 24 hours already. Protesters let only trucks with perishable goods through.
Over the past day only 30% of traffic agreed by two sides passed through Kukuryki from Poland to Belarus. “Despite the illegality of the blockage, the Polish authorities do not take measures to restore the movement of trucks,” the State Border Committee of Belarus said.
