MINSK, 16 September (BelTA) - The Belarusian delegation is taking part in the 68th session of the IAEA General Conference. The event opened in Vienna on 16 September, BelTA learned from the Department for Information and Public Relations of the Belarusian Nuclear Power Plant (BelNPP).
BelNPP Director General Sergei Bobovich is taking part in the event as part of the Belarusian delegation. The BelNPP stand will be available during the general conference. The company will present the first results of its work and the results of the BelNPP integration into the country's economy.
Taking part in the IAEA General Conference are representatives of 178 IAEA member states. The event are taking place on 16-20 September. The delegates are set to discuss a range of topics, from the annual report for 2023 and the budget for 2025 to activities related to nuclear science, technology and applications, as well as the IAEA's work in the field of nuclear and physical safety.
