Belarus, Armenia ready to share experience in criminal investigation

MINSK, 12 December (BelTA) – The Investigative Committee of Belarus played host to a working meeting between Chairman of the Investigate Committee Ivan Noskevich and a delegation of the Investigative Committee of Armenia led by head of the agency Hayk Grigoryan on 12 December, BelTA learned from the Investigative Committee of Belarus.

The meeting took place in Minsk as part of the visit of the Armenian delegation to Belarus. The visit will continue in Brest that is to host an international roundtable on 13 December to discuss the activity of the preliminary investigation bodies.

According to Ivan Noskevich, in today's world, crime goes beyond national borders more frequently and requires an adequate and coordinated response. The parties agreed to maintain working contacts in order to promptly resolve issues of mutual interest in the field of legal assistance in criminal cases. The participants of the meeting also confirmed their readiness to continue the exchange of experience in criminal investigation.
