Belarus admits about 56,000 Ukrainians since February

MINSK, 30 September (BelTA) – Belarus has admitted about 56,000 Ukrainians since February, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee of Belarus.

“From 6.00 on 24 February to 6.00 on 30 September, Belarus admitted 55,998 citizens of Ukraine. 15,888 people arrived in Belarus directly from the territory of Ukraine. 32,562 citizens of Ukraine came to Belarus from Poland, 6,427 – from Lithuania and 1,121" – from Latvia,” the committee informed.

Over the past week, Belarus admitted 1,615 citizens of Ukraine. Of them 1,610 entered the country in transit through the EU countries.
