MINSK, 25 February (BelTA) – As of 18:00 the voter turnout at the parliamentary and local elections in Belarus made up 70.29%, BelTA learned from Chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Belarus Igor Karpenko at a press conference held at the CEC press center.
“The voter turnout has reached 74.79% in Brest Oblast, 72.61% in Vitebsk Oblast, 74.13% in Gomel Oblast, 70.56% in Grodno Oblast, 70.27% in Minsk Oblast, 75.11% in Mogilev Oblast and 59.09% in Minsk,” the CEC informed.
