MINSK, 17 November (BelTA) – Attempts to violently push refugees to Belarus continue at the Belarusian-Lithuanian border, the State Border Committee of Belarus told BelTA.

Last night on 17 November Lithuanian border service personnel made an atrocious attempt to push Iraqi citizens into Belarus' territory. The incident happened in the area of the border guard station Klevitsa of the Smorgon branch of the Belarusian border service. A video shows how a Lithuanian border guardsman violently beats a migrant, who is lying on the ground, and then lets loose a dog, which bites the person's leg and starts tearing up the sleeping bag, the State Border Committee of Belarus said.
