MINSK DISTRICT, 7 November (BelTA) - Darina Borovik, a journalist from Kiev, a member of the united team of journalists from Belarus, Ukraine, and Russia, shared her impressions of the fourth wood chopping challenge among media representatives held on the shore of the Vyacha Reservoir in Minsk District, BelTA has learned.
“This is the first time I am participating in this challenge. Moreover, it's my first time in Belarus. Aleksandr Lukashenko said that Ukrainians are welcome in Belarus. Without thinking twice, I gathered a team and came to Minsk. A wood chopping challenge might sound somewhat boring. But we've been here since 8 in the morning and the time has flown by,” Darina Borovik said.

“What I enjoy most is the prevailing atmosphere of friendship. Russians, Belarusians, Ukrainians, and representatives from other countries are participating here. We are all united by friendship, love, and a yearning for peace. They are making attempts to sow discord among us, nut they will not succeed," the journalist emphasized.
Darina Borovik admitted that chopping wood was not easy, but thanks to the support from fans of her own and other teams, she did well.
The fourth wood chopping challenge among media representatives was held on the shore of the Vyacha Reservoir in Minsk District on 7 November. The participants of the wood chopping challenge competed for the top spot in various disciplines, including firewood chopping, log cutting with an axe, presidential-style wood chopping, a relay race, and contests.
