MINSK, 6 December (BelTA) – The Time of Our Victories show will take place tomorrow and will surely be a fantastic one. The expectations were shared with a BelTA reporter by Anna Gorchakova, a multiple world champion in wheelchair dancesport, head of the dance school Dar [Gift], during a general rehearsal of the sport and entertainment show.
The organizers call the Time of Our Victories show partly experimental and (which is important) social. The show will bring together mostly young university students from all over the country. They will demonstrate our culture and sport achievements. A total of about 7,000 guests will spectate the show. The organizers do not rule out the possibility that the project may continue and the large-scale show will be seen by residents of the regions.
“When we were invited, we said yes right away without hesitation. We decided that we will think how to do all of it later on,” Anna Gorchakova said with a smile.
The head of the Dar dance school praised the performance of athletes at the general rehearsal. “Every one of them is actually a solo performer. It is the first time they dance together. It is a little unusual for them. But I can say that I am very satisfied. I hope tomorrow's performance will be as great,” she added.
Anna Gorchakova expressed confidence that the show will be massive and vivid: “I’m sure it will be fantastic. The scale, to be honest, is simply amazing”.
Athletes with disabilities will present their program in the “Time to appreciate” block. Winners of world cups in wheelchair dancesport, multiple champions of the Republic of Belarus have accepted the organizers’ invitation to join the large-scale show.
