MINSK, 3 October (BelTA) – About 2,700 trucks are waiting to enter the EU, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee of Belarus.
As of 10:00, around 2,700 trucks were queuing up to enter the European Union. The busiest border crossing is the Polish checkpoint Kukuryki (Kozlovichi on the Belarusian side), which has handled 65% of the normal number of trucks over the day. Currently, 900 trucks are waiting to enter Poland.
In the last 24 hours, the least number of trucks entered the EU through the Lithuanian checkpoint Medininkai (Kamenny Log). Its personnel cleared only 22% of trucks.
A total of 390 trucks are waiting near the Latvian border checkpoint Paternieki (Grigorovshchina) to enter the EU. The checkpoint cleared 57% of trucks.
Over 350 passenger cars and 10 buses are currently queuing up in front of the Polish checkpoint Terespol (Brest).
A small number of passenger cars is also queuing up in front of the Lithuanian border checkpoint Medininkai (Kamenny Log).
