Applications for presidential grants for youth projects being accepted till 15 September

MINSK, 12 August (BelTA) – Applications for the 2026 Belarusian President’s Youth Policy Grant are being accepted until 15 September, Yulia Zinkevich, Head of the National Youth Center at the National Institute of Higher Education, said at the press conference “Belarus’ youth policy: Opportunities for self-fulfillment” at the House of Press, BelTA reports.

“The range of presidential youth policy grants has been expanded. Applications are being accepted for the third consecutive season. Grants are awarded for civic-patriotic education and healthy lifestyle promotion initiatives. This represents an opportunity to secure additional funding for youth projects,” Yulia Zinkevich noted. 

The nomination of candidates for the presidential grants is carried out in accordance with Decree No. 425 of 13 September 2013 “On grants of the president of the Republic of Belarus in the fields of science, education, healthcare, culture, and youth policy”.

The decree establishes presidential grants for managers and specialists of organizations operating in science, education, healthcare, culture, and youth policy who have made significant contributions to their respective fields. Recipients must be engaged in scientific research and innovation projects aligned with priority areas of scientific, technical, and innovative activities and as well as in youth projects deemed essential for implementing state programs and key socioeconomic development priorities of the Republic of Belarus.

The presidential grants are paid monthly over one year from the date of award. They are earmarked from the reserve fund of the president of the Republic of Belarus. The grant amount equals 41 base amounts (1 base amount equals Br42).
