Ambassador: Days of Kyrgyz Culture will be held in Belarus in 2024

MINSK, 15 February (BelTA) - In 2024, we are planning to hold the Days of Kyrgyz Culture in Minsk, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Belarus Erbol Sultanbaev told the media after a ceremony to present the credentials to Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko at the Palace of Independence on 15 February, BelTA has learned.

The head of the diplomatic mission spoke about the effective development of relations between the two countries: “Kyrgyzstan and Belarus maintain a high-level political dialogue. All this, along with the common historical past of our peoples, is a great contributor to the modern bilateral relations."

He said that in his diplomatic activities he plans to prioritize political, trade, economic and humanitarian cooperation between the two countries. 

"The intergovernmental commission is set to convene for the next meeting in Bishkek in 2024," the head of the diplomatic mission said.

According to him, the parties are also planning to organize an exchange of business missions in order to establish direct contacts between the business communities of the two countries. "We must proceed from mutual needs, opportunities and adopt the best practices of each other," Ambassador Erbol Sultanbaev emphasized. 

He also drew attention to the importance of active cooperation between the countries in such multilateral integration associations as the CIS, the EAEU, and the CSTO.

"Both bilaterally and multilaterally, all the prerequisites are in place for our cooperation to grow deeper and reach a higher level," the ambassador concluded.
