MOSCOW, 11 January (BelTA) - All Belarusian regions will run exhibitions of their achievements at VDNKh in Moscow by 3 July, Belarusian Ambassador to Russia Dmitry Krutoi said at the opening of the Brest Oblast Days at VDNKh in Moscow on January 11, BelTA has learned.
The ambassador recalled that two years ago Belarus Pavilion in Moscow underwent major renovations, on the instruction of Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko. Its concept was changed with a focus on innovations. "Within the framework of the Russia International exhibition and forum at VDNKh, we showed a part of the Intellectual Belarus exhibition in our pavilion. It was a large exhibition that traveled major cities of Belarus with great success. The president instructed to display some of the Belarusian scientific achievements here,” Ambassador Dmitry Krutoi said.
According to the ambassador, when the issue of what to do next arose at the end of December, the president suggested devoting every month to a Belarusian region until 3 July - Belarus Independence Day and the 80th anniversary of liberation from Nazis. Brest Oblast had the honor to start.
