
MINSK, 14 May (BelTA) – Almost 27,000 Ukrainian nationals have arrived in Belarus since 24 February, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee.
"From 6.00 on 24 February to 6.00 on 14 May, 26,933 citizens of Ukraine came to Belarus: 15,790 arrived in Belarus from Ukraine, 9,818 from Poland, 1,139 - from Lithuania, 186 – from Latvia,” the State Border Committee said.
“In the past 24 hours 119 Ukrainian nationals entered Belarus: one from Ukraine, 85 from Poland, 24 from Lithuania and nine from Latvia.
“Foreigners who arrive in the Republic of Belarus in the wake of the social and political situation in Ukraine, including from the territory of other countries, do not need a PCR test (certificate) to enter the country,” the State Border Committee said.
Belarusian checkpoints are operating in a routine mode.
