MINSK, 19 July (BelTA) – Belarus and Kazakhstan plan to enhance tourism between the two countries, BelTA learned from the National Tourism Agency.
The Sports and Tourism Ministry hosted talks between representatives of the Belarusian tourism industry and Kazakhstan’s SCAT Airlines. The air carrier will launch a direct flight between Almaty and Minsk on 10 August, which will significantly enhance connectivity and foster tourism exchanges between the two countries.
According to the participants of the meeting, the new direct flight will become a powerful incentive to increase tourist flows.
The parties agreed to exchange information and marketing practices, which will lead to more effective promotion of tourist destinations of Belarus and Kazakhstan, facilitate the promotion of tourism products and services at specialized exhibitions and events, as well as help share best practices in the field.
