MINSK, 15 February (BelTA) - During the Belarusian-Russian joint operational exercise Allied Resolve 2022, the troops of the two countries continue practicing combat tasks, BelTA learned from the Defense Ministry.
At the Gozhsky training ground, units of the mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Belarus are practicing reaching the blocking lines and conducting a defensive battle.
Part of the aviation group will be relocated to the Lida airfield.
At the Brestsky training ground, a unit of a motorized rifle brigade of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation is drilling the destruction of an illegal armed unit. Units of the special operations forces of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus and the Airborne Troops of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are guarding the protected facilities against illegal armed groups.
Missile launches by the Tochka tactical missile systems will be practiced in the Polesie area. Missile units of the Russian Armed Forces are moving to the designated area.
In the area of Baranovichi, units of the mechanized brigade of the Belarusian Armed Forces and marine units of the Russian Armed Forces, supported by aircraft, are conducting training operations at maneuver defense lines, ensuring the withdrawal of the 1st echelon from the training battle.
Near Luninets, air defense missile units of the Russian Armed Forces are backing the troops during a defensive operation, practicing air defense.
Attack aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces are practicing air support of the defending troops using aerial weapons at the Ruzhansky aviation training range and the Obuz-Lesnovsky, and Osipovichsky training areas.
In the vicinity of Gomel, special operations forces of the Belarusian Armed Forces are protecting facilities, encircling and destroying sabotage and reconnaissance groups of a mock enemy and illegal armed formations.
In the areas of Maryina Gorka, Osipovichi, Mozyr, Rechitsa and Pinsk, the troops of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation continue conducting joint combat training operations.
