MINSK, 12 September (BelTA) – An 18-year-old Alena Kucheruk from Polotsk has won the Miss Belarus 2025 beauty pageant, BelTA has learned.
It was obvious that after the winner’s name was announced, it was difficult for the girl to contain her emotions. With tears of joy she thanked everyone who had helped her get to this stage. “To be honest, I didn't believe in myself. It was very unexpected to find myself here,” she admitted.
Alena Kucheruk thanked the panel of judges for their choice. She recalled her first casting, and now she was on this stage. She expressed her gratitude to the organizers and her beloved mother, who has always supported her.
Aliya Korotkaya became the first runner-up in Miss Belarus , and Tatiana Marchuk became the second runner-up.
Alena Kucheruk was born in the agrotown of Goryany, Vitebsk Oblast. Now she lives in Polotsk and studies conducting (academic chorus) at Novopolotsk State Music College. Her victory during the beauty pageant won her the crown, a cash prize, and a Geely car.
As per tradition, all the participants of the final stage received evening gowns of fantastic beauty as gifts from the head of state. They wore the gowns during the final runway walk.
