MINSK, 29 March (BelTA) – Latvia's AirBaltic has resumed flights to Minsk National Airport, BelTA learned from the website of the Latvian air company.
“On 28 March, the Latvian national airline AirBaltic made its first flight from Riga to Minsk National Airport after a pause caused by COVID-19. Forced hiatus in the flight program of the Latvian airline due to COVID-19 lasted since 16 March 2020,” the airline said.
Flights on the route Riga-Minsk-Riga will be performed on Thursdays and Sundays, with the arrival time in Minsk at 14:20 and the departure time at 15:10. The airline may increase the frequency of flights in the future, the airport noted.
AirBaltic started its regular flights from Riga to Minsk National Airport on 1 August 2005.
Airport specialists recommend passengers to check the valid rules of entry into the country of destination by contacting the authorized agencies of the country of arrival before buying a ticket and before the flight.
