ORSHA, 6 December (BelTA) – Agrokombinat Yubileiny in Orsha District has become another stop on the itinerary of the “We Are Doing One Thing!” project that is part of the national social and cultural campaign Marathon of Unity, which is now taking place in Orsha, BelTA has learned.
The participation of Agrokombinat Yubileiny in the Marathon of Unity was a significant event not only for the enterprise, but also for the entire region. Director of Agrokombinat Yubileiny Aleksandr Firsin noted that the team is aware of the high responsibility for holding the event at a good level.
“This is a great honor and at the same time a responsibility for us. Our team is united and results-oriented. This year we have achieved record performance indicators: 58,000 tonnes of grain was collected, the yield was 60 c/ha. We plan to increase the output of dairy products up to 52,000 tonnes per year. Agrokombinat Yubileiny has already been included on the National Honor Roll twice, and I would like to give credit for this to the entire team,” emphasized Aleksandr Firsin.
In addition, Agrokombinat Yubileiny is busy preparing for the next season: feed has been stocked, winter crops have been planted, and fertilizers have been purchased.
The “We Are Doing One Thing!” project is an opportunity for fruitful cooperation between enterprises, said Aleksandr Kovalenko, Acting Director of Orshaagroprommash. “Our cooperation with Agrokombinat Yubileiny began back in 2010 with the supply of DNEPR machines, which are still in operation. This year, we plan to resume their production and discuss plans for 2025-2026. In addition, we are considering scaling up our partnership and discussing new projects to build up our industrial capacities,” noted Aleksandr Kovalenko.
According to one of the employees of Agrokombinat Yubileiny, participation in the “We Are Doing One Thing” project was a really big deal for the staff. “This is not only an opportunity to showcase the achievements of our enterprise, but also an opportunity to ask the management questions. For example, we discussed the company’s development prospects, plans for the coming year and the way we can contribute to the overall success. The Marathon of Unity campaign is a wonderful idea that allows everyone to be part of a big common cause. Such projects unite and inspire the team and remind us that each of us works for the prosperity of our country,” she said.
The national social and cultural campaign Marathon of Unity in Orsha will be held at various enterprises. It is aimed at contributing to the regional development and strengthening social and cultural ties. The project includes meetings and events that will highlight the contribution of each participant to strengthening the unity of Belarusians.
