MINSK, 5 October (BelTA) - The Belarusian National Agency for Quality Assurance in Education and the Russian federal accreditation agency Rosaccredagenstvo have agreed on cooperation, BelTA learned from the press center of the Education Ministry of Belarus.
The bilateral cooperation agreement was signed during a visit of a Belarusian delegation to Russia. It aims to promote mutually beneficial international cooperation between the academic and scientific communities, and to advance ties in education and research.
During the visit, the Belarusian delegation studied the best practices of supervision in education and licensing control.
An international seminar on the quality of education brought together representatives of the Department of Quality Control of Education, the National Agency for Quality Assurance of Education, the Belarusian-Russian University, the Minsk State Linguistic University and other universities of Belarus. The seminar, both offline and online, was hosted by the Akhmat Kadyrov Chechen State University under the auspices of the Russian federal accreditation agency.
The exchange of experience, thematic discussions, professional and human communication with colleagues from the Russian federal accreditation agency and Russian universities make a significant contribution to building a common educational space of higher education in Belarus and Russia, the Education Ministry said.
