MINSK, 5 November (BelTA) – About 2,000 foreigners receive treatment at the Aleksandrov National Cancer Center of Belarus every year, Director of the center Sergei Polyakov told journalists, BelTA reports.
Sergei Polyakov specified: “We have a fairly large number of patients from the Russian Federation, the Central Asian republics. There are patients from far abroad, as well as from Poland, Lithuania and Latvia.”
For the convenience of Belarusian and foreign patients, a boarding house for patients and their relatives operates on the premises of the cancer center. This facility also accommodates specialists from the regions who come to the center for conferences.
