MINSK, 21 March (BelTA) – A tactical exercise for a missile squadron of the 115th Air Defense Missile Regiment is taking place in the military exercise area Brestsky, the Belarusian Defense Ministry told BelTA.
The squadron redeployed to a new position area, deployed for combat, switched to combat duty, and handled test targets. According to the Defense Ministry, the air defense unit is supposed to carry out all the tasks in conditions that resemble actual combat as much as possible taking into account the experience of Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine.
As part of the exercise the missile squadron had to interact with a radio warfare unit in order to counter drones as well as actions of a sabotage and reconnaissance force of the simulated enemy.
