
MINSK, 31 March (BelTA) - Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has appointed Yuri Karayev Grodno Oblast Governor, BelTA has learned.
Earlier this March, Yuri Karayev was appointed Acting Governor of Grodno Oblast after the former governor, Vladimir Karanik, assumed the position of Deputy Prime Minister.

Yuri Karayev served as Aide to the President of the Republic of Belarus and Inspector for Grodno Oblast, and prior to that, he headed the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus.
