MINSK, 12 July (BelTA) – The West is devising strategic plans to attack Russia, directions of the attack are known. Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko made the statement during the ceremony held in the Palace of Independence on 12 July to honor graduates of military schools and high-ranking officers, BelTA has learned.
Aleksandr Lukashenko said: “Strategic plans to attack Russia are being developed recently. The president of the Russian Federation and I discussed it in detail yesterday. And the main direction of attack will go through Ukraine and Belarus. The history is repeating itself.”
BelTA reported earlier that the presidents of Belarus and Russia talked to each other over the phone on 11 July. Matters concerning Kaliningrad Oblast transit represented one of the central topics during the conversation. Apart from that, the presidents continued discussing defense and security of the two countries in continuation of the negotiations held in St Petersburg in June.
