KLIMOVICHI, 16 November (BelTA) - There are enough people who want to unleash a war in Belarus, but they are afraid of the unity of the Belarusian people, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said as he honored farmers during the regional Dazhynki 2024 harvest festival in the town of Klimovichi on 16 November, BelTA has learned.
"I repeat: it is better to work in a field than sweat blood. If there is an economy, war will never happen. If there is no economy, we will create this war ourselves, we will unleash a civil war. There are enough ill-wishers: they are abroad, rattling their weapons. But they are afraid because we are more united than ever, because we want to live on our land. They are afraid of this, not me. They are afraid of our unity and the fact that we want to work. If we lose this feeling, you will see what happens. God willing this never happens," Aleksandr Lukashenko said.
