MINSK, 8 October (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko shared some details of the joint dinner and informal summit of the CIS leaders the day before as he talked to journalists in the Kremlin on 8 October, BelTA has learned.
“The dinner was great,” the head of state said adding that the CIS leaders got the chance to discuss all the issues.
“From geopolitics to domestic issues. The key message of the meeting was ‘stronger together’,” he added.
In his speech at the summit, the head of state expressed confidence that the parties would be able to find optimal solutions to all issues on the agenda, meeting the interests of the countries. “We will be able to frankly exchange views on all pressing issues. Although I caught myself thinking: “What else can we discuss today to what we discussed yesterday?” We discussed almost all issues, including regional conflicts, challenges, and the Middle East, and our regional relations. Today, fortunately, we are confirming yesterday's conclusions,” Aleksandr Lukashenko said.
