
MINSK, 27 June (BelTA) – The next summit of the Eurasian Economic Union will be held in St. Petersburg at the end of the year, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said as he took stock of the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in Minsk on 27 June, BelTA has learned.
“As is tradition, we will gather for an informal EAEU summit in St. Petersburg in December. In 2026, our friend Kazakhstan will take over the presidency [in the EAEU], and we will hold the next official EAEU summit in Astana,” Aleksandr Lukashenko said.
