MINSK, 24 August (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko spoke in positive terms about the Single Information and Educational Resource which was developed in Belarus for school students in addition to the educational process. The project was shown to the head of state before the National Pedagogical Conference on 24 August, BelTA has learned.
The resource has been developed in accordance with corresponding educational programs for every school subject. Students will be able to watch explanatory videos and pass tests. The resource was designed by the best Belarusian teachers and thus can serve as a methodological platform for young teachers.
“It is good, of course,” the president said.
According to Education Minister Igor Karpenko, specialists still need to develop the Belarusian version of the resource. The work is in progress. Certain materials will be improved an updated in case of any changes in educational methods and programs.
Aleksandr Lukashenko was also told about the implementation of the project “Proud of Belarus” which highlights the country's achievements over the years of sovereignty.
