Priest of Logoisk church speaks to Lukashenko as one father of many to another

LOGOISK, 7 January (BelTA) – The archpriest Vladimir, who is in charge of the temple of Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker in Logoisk that Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko came to on Christmas, thanked the president for the policy of support for large families, BelTA has learned.

The priest said: “I am a father of many. I have six kids. I’d like to thank you.”

“Well done. You are the one we should say kind words to. And the kids are good. According to my data, the kids are good. One can give birth to kids but it is never clear what people they will become,” Aleksandr Lukashenko remarked to emphasize the importance of upbringing.

“It has a lot to do not only with me but with my spouse, who is present here,” the priest noted.

“No doubt,” Aleksandr Lukashenko agreed.

The archpriest Vladimir once again thanked the president: “As a father of many and on behalf of all the fathers of many I bow low to you. For what you have done for us, for what you do, and we hope that the policy will stay in place.”

“Definitely,” the Belarusian leader promised.

“Thank you very much from one father of many to another father of many,” the priest added.
