
MINSK, 24 July (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has reacted with irony to Estonia's latest sanctions, which include a travel ban on the Belarusian leader, Press secretary of the Belarusian president Natalya Eismont told TASS, BelTA learned.
"I can share with you the president's reaction to today's 'earth-shattering' news. His exact words were: ‘Unfortunately, I've never been to Estonia... After these sanctions were imposed, I keep wondering: ‘Will I survive?’” Natalya Eismont said.
The Estonian government has imposed an indefinite entry ban on 273 Belarusian nationals, including President Aleksandr Lukashenko.
