MINSK, 27 June (BelTA) – The meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council will take place in Minsk on 27 June, BelTA has learned.
The summit will be held in the Palace of Independence. The event will be chaired by Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko. The meeting will be attended by the leaders of the EAEU member states, observer countries and heads of foreign delegations.

This is the first meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in 2025. The agenda of the summit comprises about a dozen and a half issues. They cover international activities, strategic areas for the development of Eurasian economic integration, liberalization of services in the EAEU, economic cooperation in sports, as well as the development of trade and economic cooperation with the main partners of the EAEU.
Ten documents are expected to be signed following the summit. In particular, the EAEU countries will approve the main areas of cooperation in sports, conclude an economic partnership agreement with the UAE and a temporary trade agreement with Mongolia.

The 4th Eurasian Economic Forum took place in the Belarusian capital on 26 June. The plenary session “Strategy of Eurasian Economic Integration: Results and Prospects” was attended by President Aleksandr Lukashenko and distinguished guests from partner countries.
During his speech, the Belarusian president outlined the contours of the updated version of the economic union, focusing on the need to create a branded Eurasian product.
“Work on joint projects has begun, decisions have been made, and considerable funds have been allocated for these purposes from the EAEU budget. We must not compete with each other in traditional industries, but together take the lead in new industries, the ones that we have not probably considered yet. There is no escaping it. By combining the potentials of our economies, we are able to create a unique Eurasian product - from airplanes and trains to digital solutions and artificial intelligence. We have already learned to do some things in these areas,” said Aleksandr Lukashenko.
