MINSK, 8 March (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent his greetings to Belarusian women on the occasion of Women's Day, the press service of the Belarusian leader told BelTA.
The message reads: “It is symbolic that the main words for every person – mother, family, Motherland – are of the feminine gender in the Russian language. You carry the most important values and traditions and pass them to younger generations. No professional, sports and creative heights are insurmountable for you.”
Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed that there were different periods in the history of the country and the nation, but Belarusian women have always been the bedrock of exceptional wisdom and quiet confidence in the happy future.
“On this holiday I wish you and your families strong health, love, understanding, peace and successes in all good undertakings,” he noted.
