MINSK, 28 July (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent a letter of birthday greetings to Hero of the Soviet Union Vasily Michurin, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
“You have played different roles in your long and eventful life: the roles of a soldier, a citizen, a patriot, a family man. Having gone through tremendous ordeals, you have preserved the best human qualities such as love of life, kindness, generosity, justice, honesty and integrity,” the felicitation message reads. “You are a legend, and your life is an example for us and for future generations, a vivid example of selfless service to the Homeland, the strength of spirit and cast-iron will.”
The head of stat thanked the veteran for everything he has done to protect, preserve and develop the Fatherland, for the unparalleled feat in the name of freedom and independence of Belarus.
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Vasily Michurin health, wellbeing and the best of luck.
