MINSK, 22 April (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko expressed his hope for a successful performance of the Justice Ministry as he appointed Yevgeny Kovalenko Justice Minister on 22 April, BelTA has learned.
“The Justice Ministry has always been an agency of great significance. You have worked a lot in the relevant positions, including your recent post in the Belarus President Administration [Yevgeny Kovalenko led the State Legal Directorate at the Belarus President Administration]. You had to deal and partly manage certain processes in the ministry and join the work in many areas there. I wish you every success in your new post,” the Belarusian leader said.
Maksim Ryzhenkov, First Deputy Head of the Belarus President Administration, recommended Yevgeny Kovalenko as a reliable person who showed himself well in the preparation of important normative legal acts.
