LOGOISK, 7 January (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko is convinced it will be possible to overcome all complications and difficulties of the year ahead. The head of state made the relevant statement as he visited a church in Logoisk, Minsk Oblast on Orthodox Christmas, BelTA has learned.
The head of state said that as he had been preparing for visiting the church, he had written down several ideas he would like to voice for the entire Belarusian nation and he would like to talk about key deeds of the foreseeable future to those, who hear it.
“I have already said more than once that the year 2025 will not be a simple one. Not only because they have started chocking and pressuring Belarus and Russia from all sides. For now the tactics and the strategy we have determined help us not only stay afloat but live decent lives,” the president stated.
“Frankly speaking, everyone lives the way they want. I can say it calmly today. Because if you want to live a better life, then all the conditions for it are available in our state. If you want it better, then the Lord has always hinted that you have to work harder. If you don’t work hard, then you will never live a better life. You will never live even a good life,” the Belarusian leader noted.
“This is why we will overcome all the complications and hardships of the year ahead. They are related not only to the pressure on our state. This year will be complicated also because the situation is not simple for our friends and neighbors that we trade with. And trade is the foundation of life of any state. You see it. If things were normal for them, then things would be very good for us. This is why this year will not be easy. It will be hard. But we will live through it,” Aleksandr Lukashenko is convinced.
He stressed that the country had overcome various hardships more than once, including the pandemic and sanctions. “But when we are united, when we stand together, when we at least look to one side in the same manner, then everything will be good for us,” the president said. “We will overcome all the complications and hardships. We have learned how to overcome them. We know how to overcome. But we can do it only together.”
