MINSK, 31 December (BelTA) - Belarus will do everything for children because children are the main thing, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said during a meeting with the staff of Minsk Regional Children's Clinical Hospital, BelTA learned.
“This is a great hospital. Well done! We will do everything for children, because children are our most important thing. As I wish you all the best for the new year, I wish first of all that your kids to stay healthy. No matter how talented you, doctors, are, but when children get sick, it is bad, hard. It is a terrible thing,” the head of state said.
“I wish you happiness, successes, wellness. A doctor should not be sick. May you be in good health! We will address other things gradually, little by little, the way you want. May you enjoy good health always! I wish your patients to get better soon,” Aleksandr Lukashenko said.
The president was shown the anesthesiology and resuscitation unit that have undergone a major renovation. It was carried out on the basis of the presidential decree. The Unit is very well-equipped, taking into account the accumulated experience and needs of doctors.
Minsk Regional Children's Clinical Hospital is a multidisciplinary medical institution providing specialized high-tech medical care to children and also to adult patients in certain areas (ophthalmology, otorhinolaryngology, maxillofacial surgery) of Minsk Oblast. The hospital also renders organizational, methodological and advisory assistance to healthcare organizations of the region.

The president also got familiar with the work of the pediatric cardiology and rheumatology department and inspected the conditions created in the healthcare institution for children and their parents.
