MINSK, 3 February (BelTA) - The increasing use of illegitimate sanctions destabilizes the situation in the world, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said as he received credentials from the ambassadors of foreign countries in Minsk on 3 February, BelTA has learned.
“The situation in the world is further destabilized by the increasing use of illegitimate sanctions by some states against countries they do not like, which is one of the manifestations of neocolonialism. This inevitably leads to wars of sanctions, Aleksandr Lukashenko said.
The president noted that today Belarus is actively working in traditional markets, tapping into new ones and invites all states to mutually beneficial cooperation. "We have something to offer in the industrial sector, agriculture, construction, pharmaceuticals and many other industries. We are also ready to develop trusting relations in the cultural, educational, scientific, sports and other humanitarian areas," the Belarusian leader stressed.
