MINSK, 12 September (BelTA) – The United States of America wants to resolve the problem of Russia and China at the expense of Ukraine and Belarus. Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko made the statement as he met with representatives of various nationalities, who live in Belarus, BelTA has learned.
During the meeting Vladislav Kadira, Chairman of the Belarusian public association of Ukrainians Vatra, remarked that Belarusians and Ukrainians have travelled down a long historical path together. In his words, it gives all the reasons to state that their unity cannot be destroyed.
“How can anyone justify underhanded intentions, spread barbed wire between hearts of Belarusians and Ukrainians, who are linked by many centuries of history, by the language affinity, by daily lives and especially by the memory of the Great Patriotic War? Today we call upon all the world governments to end conflicts, prevent the growth of antihumanism ideas, stop oppressing people on the basis of their language, race, and ethnicity,” Vladislav Kadira stated.
In response to the statement the head of state spoke in detail about the prehistory of Russia’s conflict with Ukraine. He noted he is doing everything possible in order to prevent Belarus from getting dragged into this confrontation and in order to end the war in the region.
The president also made a few comments about the geopolitical situation: “God forbid if the government in America changes (god forbid for Ukraine) and they will say: ‘We don’t know you’. I’ve told Vladimir Zelensky about it: ‘Vladimir, new people will rise to power in the European Union and over there, there will be plenty of problems and a lot will change. You will be forgotten’. I’ve talked to Putin about it at length. He told me: ‘Tell him I am ready’.”
Aleksandr Lukashenko said that before the current armed confrontation began Russia was ready to help Ukraine with the restoration of the regions. The Russian leader told him that. “I ran to them like a little dog. I invited Poroshenko to come to Pripyat. We met. Zelensky was told about it and said no. But why? After all, they are no fools. Americans pushed them to do it. They need to resolve the problem of Russia and sort out China afterwards. They live off that. If they don’t sort out us, Russia, and China (as well as Iran and the rest now), they will not be rich. They will not be able to print their hard currency because a new one will rise,” the head of state is convinced.
In his words, today all the countries have seen what the United States of America really is and what goals it pursues. “The world is now in motion, the world is now so unstable that neither you nor I can predict what will happen tomorrow. This is why we have to calm down. They will try to murder us with our own hands. They are already doing it. This is why we have to stop. We shouldn’t get dragged into this slaughter because things will not be easy. Although someone wants it desperately. We need to endure. We need to be patient. The key is to make our people understand that things are not simple these days,” the Belarusian leader added.
