Lukashenko urges Belarusians to use common sense in assessing current situation

MINSK, 26 May (BelTA) – Belarusians should rely on common sense in assessing the situation around their country, Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko said as he addressed the meeting in the Oval Hall of the Seat of Government on 26 May, BelTA has learned.

“Use common sense, turn down the negativity of social media and Telegram channels, and look around and assess the situation clearly. Wisdom is our strength,” the president said.

“There are no challenges we cannot overcome. This is what Belarusians learned over centuries. This time will also go down in history as a landmark, watershed period. I am sure that we will get through it and keep our country intact. The time has chosen us and we should rise up to the challenge,” Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed.
